1.Pasta with white sauce Recipe

  • Penne Pasta – 400 grams boiled
  • Capsicum – 1 (chopped)
  • red pepper – 2 (chopped)
  • potatoes – 2 (chopped)
  • Corn flour – 2 tsp
  • cheese cubes – 2 (medium)
  • oregano – 1 tsp
  • thyme – 1 tsp
  • paprika – 1 tsp
  • sweet corn  – 1 cup (boiled frozen)
  • broccoli – 200 grams (boiled)
  • butter – 1 tsp
  • cloves grated garlic – 4
  • milk – 2 cups
  • Black pepper – 2 pinches
  • Salt – as needed
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Oil – 2 tsp

Step:1

Pasta with white sauce is one of the simplest pasta recipe, which can be made ready to eat just in a few minutes. Here is the first step to make delicious pasta with white sauce at home.

Set a pan on stove over medium flame and boil all the vegetables like sweet corn, capsicum, potatoes, red peppers with a little salt. Add little amount of black pepper you like the taste of black pepper powder.

You need to be careful while boiling veggies, over boiling the vegetables leads to run out all the nutrition by making them oozy, the taste of the pasta will be spoiled. Whereas, when the vegetables are delicious the taste of pasta tangs good.

Set another pan and heat over medium flame. Boil the pasta as per the given instructions(take 4-5 cups of water, add 1 tsp of salt,1 tsp of oil, when water starts boiling add pasta, boil the pasta around 10 – 20 minutes). For the preparation of white sauce, set a pan on low flame and melt the butter. While the butter is melting, grated garlic should be added to the butter and saute for few seconds.

Then, add corn flour and saute till the garlic and flour is well mixed in the pan. Add 4 cups of milk in the pan and stir it up constantly to avoid any slab. Lastly cooked pasta should be added with sauce and mixed properly.

Chicken pasta with white sauce

Ingredients

  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Butter – 5 tbsp
  • Pepper – as needed
  • Salt – as needed
  • Milk – 4 cups
  • Penne Pasta – 1 cup
  • Chicken breast – 255 grams
  • Chicken broth – ½ (low sodium)
  • Broccoli – ½ cup chopped
  • Portobello mushroom – ½ (chopped)
  • White sauce – 1 cup
  • Cloves garlic – 3 (chopped)
  • Parsley – 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Olive oil – as needed
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Oil – 1 tsp

Step 1:

Set a pan on stove over medium flame and melt the butter, add flour and mix vigorously. Add 4 cups of milk and whisk vigorously until it becomes hard.  Then add a pinch of salt and pepper.

Step 2:

Set another pan and heat over medium flame. Boil the pasta as per the given instructions(take 4-5 cups of water, add 1 tsp of salt,1 tsp of oil, when water starts boiling add pasta, boil the pasta around 10 – 20 minutes). Dribble olive oil to avoid pasta from brunt. In another pan boil chicken by adding pinch of salt and pepper. When the chicken is boiled keep it aside.

Step 3:

3.Broccoli Corn Pasta with white sauce

Ingredients

  • Penne pasta – 300 grams
  • Broccoli – 300 grams
  • Butter – 3 tsp
  • Refined flour (maida) – 4 tsp
  • Green chillies – 4 (chopped)
  • Corn – 250 grams
  • Oregano – as needed
  • Chilli flakes – as needed
  • Cream (malai) – ½ cup
  • Salt – as needed
  • Cheese – as needed
  •  Olive Oil – 2 tsp
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Oil – 1tsp

How to make the recipe:

Step 1:

Set a pan and heat over medium flame. Boil the pasta as per the given instructions(take 4-5 cups of water, add 1 tsp of salt,1 tsp of oil, when

water starts boiling add pasta, boil the pasta around 10 – 20 minutes). Dribble olive oil to avoid pasta from brunt and keep aside .

Step 2:

Set another pan on stove over medium flame and melt the butter, add refined flour (maida) and mix vigorously. Add green chillies (chopped) and whisk vigorously until it becomes hard. Then add 250 grams of corn and 300 grams of broccoli. Saute the vegetables, cook for 3-4 minutes by closing the lid.

When the vegetables are sautéed add little amount of oregano and chilli flakes. Then add cream and whisk vigorously, when the cream is well mixed sprinkle pinch of salt as required. Now cooked pasta should be added  and mixed properly with the white sauce. Finally add some amount of cheese .

4. Spinach pasta with white sauce

  •  Mozzarella cheese – ¼ cup  
  • oil – 1 tbsp
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp  
  • All-purpose flour – 2 tbsp (plain flour, maida)
  • Dry basil – 1
  • Italian herb mix– 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes – ½ tsp
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • milk – 2 cups
  • Black pepper – 2 pinches
  • Salt – as needed
  • Water – 4 cups

  • Milk – 4 cups
  • Penne Pasta – 1 cup
  • Shrimp – 500 grams
  • Chicken broth – ¼ (low sodium)
  • Mozzarella – 1 cup (shredded)
  • Parmesan – ¼ cup
  • Tomatoes – 1 cup (chopped)
  • Cloves garlic – 3 (minced)
  • Parsley – 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Olive oil – as needed
  • Oil – 1 Tsp
  • Water – 4 cups  

How to make the recipe:

Step 1:

Take a pan on low flame and melt the butter. While the butter is melting, flour should be added to the butter and saute for 2 minutes. Then add milk and broth over low flame. Stir it with ¾ cup of mozzarella and ¼ cup of parmesan, season with pepper and salt.

Step 4:

Lastly add cooked shrimp, tomatoes, penne pasta and mix vigorously. Then sprinkle the leftover ¼ cup of mozzarella and 2 tablespoons parmesan let it cook of 6 – 7 minutes. Finally, garnish the recipe with parsley.
